Sketch is a MacOS X application that lets users to explore many different artistic mediums in a digital drawing environment. Featuring simple-to-learn tools and endless different ways to sketch, everyone can get something out of the Sketch application.

More specifically, Sketch is a vector based design tool that immediately opens on an infinitely scaling canvas. Users have limitless creative options when it comes to pairing images, colors, making palettes, and drawing on the canvas.

Unlike other graphic design applications, Sketch features small and minimalist side bars for selecting colors, layers, opacity, and other customization options. By contrast, applications like Abode Photoshop can get bloated with too many features that throw new users off.

The user toolbar is fully customizable, resizable, and scalable to configure without whatever the user needs to do. Users can even hotkey specific paint brushes or other tools for easy toggling. The more experienced you get, the easier it is to perfect your mastery over the Sketch environment.

Users should keep in mind that Sketch is, first and foremost, a prototyping application. It would be difficult to craft and fully realize a drawing design in the app; however, it works great for throwing together models and workshopping a complex idea on paper.
